The purchase of a ticket or marquee package or use of an entry ticket constitutes a contract between the event promoter and the marquee/ticket holder. Any marquee package or ticket purchased and a patron’s entry to and presence at the Jeep Portsea Polo is subject to the following terms and conditions:
| 1. | Tickets are not refundable or replaceable and damaged, defaced or tampered with tickets will not be accepted. |
| 2. | The ticket holder assumes all risk and danger incidental to event equipment/structures and the game of polo and releases the Promoter, Parks Victoria, Focal Promotions, the VPC, all of their sponsors, participating players and all of their agents from any and all liabilities resulting from the assumption of such risk and danger. |
| 3. | The promoter retains the right to change the event format due to inclement weather and the promoter is not liable for any damage, compensation, loss or expenses as a result of inclement weather. No refunds will be available in the event of poor weather. |
| 4. | Marquee Facilities and tickets to the event must not, without the prior written consent of the promoter, be offered for resale, resold or packaged or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. |
| 5. | Corporate signage permitted to be located outside a marquee is restricted to the front fence identification sign supplied in the package by the promoter. |
| 6. | Jeep Portsea Polo is an 18+ licensed event. Valid photo ID is required. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times. Childrens’ tickets can only be bought with an adult (parent or guardian) ticket. Legal guardianship requires the adult guardian to be the bearer of a letter from the parent designating guardianship for the duration of the event. Children's tickets are sold on the age of the child at the time of the Jeep Portsea Polo, not at the time of purchase. |
| 7. | The promoter retains the right to refuse entry or access to the venue and eject patrons at any time. |
| 8. | Underage drinkers, excessive drinkers, illegal drug users or patrons displaying antisocial behavior may be ejected or dealt with by event security and/or police. |
| 9. | Clients booking marquee packages are required to use the promoter appointed official suppliers. Harry The Hirer is the event’s exclusive on-site hiring company and no other hiring company will be permitted on-site. Damm Fine Food and Fred & Ginger Catering are the preferred event caterers and and no other unauthorised caterer will be permitted on-site. New Breed Security is the event’s exclusive on-site security company and no other security company will be permitted on-site. |
| 10. | The following items cannot be brought into the event without prior written consent from the promoter – eskys, cutlery, sharp knives, glassware, alcoholic beverages, tents, tables or market/cafe umbrellas. The following items can be bought into the event for use in the public viewing area only – snack food, drinking water and soft drink in sealed plastic bottles, fold out chairs and picnic rugs. Ticket holders and their property may be inspected for prohibited items on entry or during the event. Tickets holders found with prohibited items may be refused entry, ejected or have those items confiscated. Confiscated items will be donated to charity and will not be returned, replaced or reimbursed. |
| 11. | The event site is an area of TOTAL FIRE BAN. Patron’s detected using flame including bbq’s, fires or gas bottles may be fined by the Fire Authorities and ejected from the event. |
| 12. | Ticket holders grant permission to the promoter to use the holder’s image and likeness in relation to any live or recorded television or other media or reproduction in whole or part of the event. |
| 13. | Dogs and other pets are not permitted in Point Nepean Park or the polo event precinct. |
