How to get to Jeep Portsea Polo

Car
Point Nepean is approximately 100kms from Melbourne CBD and takes 90-120 minutes by car during the busy summer holiday season. Onsite car parking is very limited and fees apply... see below for more information. Please consider carpooling and if you intend to drink please ensure you have a designated driver so that you can leave the site without fear of failing a breathalyser test.

Bus From Melbourne
A commercial coach service is operating on event day departing South Yarra to Portsea Polo and back again.... why not leave your car at home and travel by luxury coach from Melbourne direct to the main Portsea Polo entrance. Click here for details.

Bus From Sorrento & Portsea
A special Portsea Polo Bus service will operate a loop service through Sorrento & Portsea directly to the event... why not leave the car at home, arrange to be 'dropped off' in Sorrento and catch the bus all the way to the main event entrance. The shuttle bus service will operate every 15 minutes from 10.30am to 1:30pm, and will service most stops on the normal bus route. Outgoing service commences at 4pm and last bus leaves Portsea Polo at 7pm. Tickets are $10 return. In addition the normal bus service from Rosebud to Portsea will operate throughout the day. Free Shuttle Bus From Point Nepean Park Entrance
You can also arrange to be dropped off at the Point Nepean Park Entrance (at the Visitor Centre) where you can catch the free event shuttle bus to the main Portsea Polo entrance... the shuttle bus will operate from 10.30am to 6:30pm on event day.

Helicopter
Arrive in Style at the Polo! Enjoy a 30 minute scenic helicopter flight along the Mornington Peninsula coastline. Flights depart on the hour from Moorabbin Airport (other depart locations also available) and land at Portsea Polo. Onsite Car Parking
Onsite car parking is available at $20 per vehicle. There are only a limited number of onsite car parks available so we suggest you pre-purchase a car park pass to avoid disappointment. Car park passes will only be available at the entry gate on event day if they have not sold out beforehand. The car park is in operation from 10am to 6:30pm and please note that cars cannot be left onsite overnight - they must be removed from the site by 7pm. Please also note that there is NO parking available near POINT NEPEAN or in the surrounding neighbourhood. Please do not park in surrounding streets or parks, as this is the cause of much aggravation for residents of the area. You run the risk of being fined or towed, as police and council rangers will be targeting illegal parking. Purchase car park tickets here.
